Attendee Checklist

What To Bring With You

Day Battle - Checklist

A Day Battle is going to be about twice as much or more fighting than you'd get at an active fighter practice. You'll want to bring everything you would for practice plus the items below.

Again, whatever you would bring to be comfortable outdoors at the park.

Camping Chair

You cannot guarantee there will be seating at the park.

Mark Your Gear

Mark all your weapons ahead of time using blue, green, red, or yellow tape according to the rules.

Also mark each piece of gear with your name.

Gear Precheck

Even if you are not sure how to check gear, some issues such as torn covers, exposed foam, or is obviously unsafe in any way just leave that one at home.

Medieval Garb

clothing that helps create the look and feel of a medieval or fantasy setting while avoiding obviously modern styles. You do not need an expensive or historically perfect costume to participate—simple, comfortable clothing that fits the setting is usually enough.

Food/Snack

If you don't know that food will be supplied make sure to eat ahead of times and or bring.

A Change of Clothes

Depending on the your trek to the battle you may want to bring a change of clothes if its a long drive.

Enough Water

Enough water for the day per person, take the weather into account. Cold weather causes us to use more water than you think.
